This is a summary of my personal experience hiring Pacific Point Builders. I hired them in 2024 to build an ADU in Los Angeles. The building process went smoothly at first, and I even recommended them to family and friends at that time. After the ADU was completed and occupied, several issues came up. The HVAC units began leaking water on the floor, and the hot water heater broke multiple times even after being reinstalled twice. The HVAC system also stopped blowing heat. Steven (the company representative I worked with) told me the plumbers needed to reopen sections of the wall because flexible pipes had not been installed correctly. A visible PVC pipe had to be added to the front of the home, which I felt detracted from the appearance. Before construction, I had requested that all piping be installed inside the wall, so this was disappointing. You can clearly see red and black letters and numbers on the pipe. The exterior stucco has developed more cracks then I would have expected. Because of these issues, I had to reimburse tenants for time without hot water, AC, and heat. Based on my overall experience, I personally would not recommend this company.
