I strongly advise anyone considering Unique Home Builders or Mr. Nir Heydar to stay away. My experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful. I hired them in 2024 to remodel my pool, but the project was left incomplete and poorly done — the work was defective, and it caused active water leaks into the pool equipment room. Despite repeated promises, the contractor failed to correct the problems or provide the required inspection documentation. I’ve had to spend months filing complaints with the California Contractors State License Board and the company’s insurance just to get the situation addressed. Their communication became evasive once problems appeared, and I was left with significant property damage and financial loss. If you value professionalism, accountability, and quality workmanship, look elsewhere. This experience has been one of the most frustrating and costly homeowner issues I’ve ever faced.

I called Unique Home Builders to get my backyard remodeled for summer. I got a chance to work with Sammy and his Team. All communication either early in the morning or late at night was fulfilled and responded quickly. Their timing and efficiency in how they scheduled people to work is astounding. I am so pleased that I Recommend using them and share my experience.

Nir and his crew from Unique Home Builders did indeed turn our backyard into a "dream resort" for us! The patient that they had on the design process. I am in love with my backyard patio and spend many hours out there now as often as possible. The work was done professionally and meticulously and the price was fair. Unique home builders did an amazing job renovating our backyard. After receiving a few bids, we ended up choosing UHB because they were able to handle every aspect of the job we wanted (demo, retaining wall, patio, turf, pavers, watering system, outdoor lighting, firepit area, etc.) Steve and his team were extremely easy to work with. Communication was great and they were able to get the job completed faster than anticipated. The backyard exceeded our expectations and looks beautiful. We couldn't have asked for anything more. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to do any outdoor project.

I would highly recommend Unique Home Builders to all people I know. They recently fully remodeled my backyard and did a great job, better than I expected at very reasonable costs.
