Instead of replacing one thing at a time, we decided to do the bathroom remodel properly in one project. That choice saved us from having to redo the work later. The old tub was removed and replaced with a walk-in shower. More storage space was added beside the vanity, and the room was opened up by moving a dividing wall. We also upgraded the floor base before installing the new tile. Everything works together much better than before. The bathroom is more useful, and it no longer feels like an outdated part of the home.

Nothing had been updated for a couple of decades, and it showed. I reached out to this team for a full kitchen and dining area remodel. They met me with clear ideas and a clean process, and we settled on the proper design. The project was over 700 square feet, including layout changes to open up the kitchen and living areas. Some walls were redone, and one header was added, among other structural works. I liked how they respected the original character but still made everything look modern. The finishes were simple: matte white walls, wide-plank floors, and a slab backsplash in the kitchen. There were also privacy concerns due to the lot shape, and they helped redesign a few windows to fix that without needing permit changes. The team accurately laid out the form boards, poured the slab in phases, and kept the site clutter-free. Framing took about four and a half weeks and included longer-span beams for the kitchen area. Utility rough-ins fit exactly, thanks to the spacing his crew left between joists. One city inspection was delayed due to the weather, but passed clean once scheduled. I liked how organized each part of the process felt. No pressure, no overexplaining, just clear choices at every step. The home construction has been a success and turned out exactly as we hoped, and I’ve already referred them to two neighbors who’ve walked the site.
